Rental Terms & Conditions
Everything about renting bins from Bay State Crate Co, written to be read.
01Rental Period
Each rental includes one week from the delivery date unless otherwise noted. Additional weeks are a flat $49, regardless of pack size.
02Renter Responsibility & Liability
While the bins (and any included dolly) are in the renter's possession — from the time of delivery until they are picked up or returned — the renter is solely responsible for their care, condition, and safekeeping. Bay State Crate Co is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or other incident involving the bins or dolly while they are checked out to the renter, including but not limited to their use, placement, or storage on the renter's property.
03Damage & Missing Items
Normal cosmetic wear (scuffs, dirt, minor marks) is never charged. A $15 fee applies per bin with structural damage (cracked, broken, or a non-functioning lid) or per bin/dolly not returned.
04Pickup
Once finished, renters should notify Bay State Crate Co and leave the bins outside; someone does not need to be present for pickup. We typically pick up within 24 hours of notice.
05Payment
Full payment for the first week is due at the time of booking confirmation. Bins are expected back by day 7 unless the rental is extended. A valid card is kept on file for the duration of the rental. If a renter would like to extend their rental, they can reach out to confirm before the $49 weekly extension fee is charged. If a renter has not returned their bins or contacted us by day 8, we will attempt to reach the renter, and if we don't hear back, the card on file will be charged the $49 extension fee automatically to cover the additional week. Damage or missing-item fees, per the policy above, may also be charged to the card on file without additional confirmation, as this is agreed to at the time of booking.
06Cancellations & Rescheduling
Need to cancel or reschedule before your delivery date? Just let us know and we'll issue a full refund or move your delivery to a new date, no charge.
07Service Area
Delivery and pickup are available from Quincy to North Plymouth, MA.
08Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of a rental applies to that rental.
